Wow I am pumped. My day was pretty crazy from 7-3, working on some major presentation we are fleshing out. It’s actually really productive as all the work I put in now will save us work in the future. Plus I am learning the ins and outs of various systems and classification codes.
So I had Bloomberg training from 3-5:30 on Commodity training and Energy company analysis. I’m crossing the street and who waves at me but one of my best friends from Milton, Mr Cormier (not his real last name, that’s a funny story that goes back to his wedding). I’ve know him since Grade 7, and I was introduced to Jay Ro through him, cuz he lived opposite the Baron. Anywho, he has a sweet pimped out ride (as per usual
) and I look forward to having lunch with him and catching up soon.
I learned something interesting about options in the Bloomberg session, which if confirmed will reiterate my belief of the stock market as a giant casino.
I managed to get in a decent workout after work, my first good one in a while. I’ve been pretty drained with the MBA and all and this past weekend was pretty bad as I had this constant “low volume” headache going on. I never get headaches and I just felt pretty low energy and down. I have 5 months to go and I can’t wait to be finished. At this point I’m at the peak of the Laffer curve, any move forward has minimal impact, while moves backwards although not in my best interest will relieve some pressure.
I got my chips!!! They look AWESOME. I put out the felt and the chips and cards. Wow, I can’t wait to play. I was a bit nervous about the plaques, but they are sweet. I have included a pic. I also have a little problem with a prize (TBD). Can you figure out which seat I will be sitting it and why?
Here’s some poker Clips to get people in the mood:
Okay, at first I didn’t like the guy, now I find him amusing. That being said, I don’t know how funny I would find it to be seated at the same table as him.
